The ‘AI & Big Data Expo North America 2025,’ a premier exhibition specializing in Artificial Intelligence and Big Data, was successfully held from June 4th to 5th at the Santa Clara Convention Center in California, USA. This exhibition, part of the TechEx North America series, is operated as a joint trade show integrating eight key technological sectors: AI & Big Data, Cyber Security, IoT, Digital Transformation, Intelligent Automation, Edge Computing, and Data Centers. It serves as a comprehensive platform for technology-driven corporate innovation.
Korean Pavilion Highlights Promising AI Semiconductor Enterprises
The Korean Pavilion was organized by KOTRA (Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency) in partnership with the Korea Semiconductor Research Association and the Korea-U.S. AI Semiconductor Innovation Center. Three promising AI semiconductor companies, including AimFuture, participated with dedicated booths. Participating firms highly valued the exhibition as an optimal opportunity to introduce their AI semiconductor technologies, given that the event is primarily attended by AI solution providers and Edge device (IoT) companies integrating AI capabilities. Recognizing the varied application fields and different synergistic partners required for each specific AI semiconductor product, companies tailored their visitor attraction strategies to align with their respective business goals.
AimFuture Spotlights High-Performance NPU and Edge AI Solutions
AimFuture, an AI semiconductor IP company spun off from LG Electronics’ R&D Center in 2020, showcased its high-performance NPU IP series, ‘NeuroMosAIc,’ and its Edge AI Board Solutions. NeuroMosAIc’s key strength lies in its architectural feature that allows multiple neural network models to run simultaneously. This makes it particularly advantageous for complex AI tasks requiring Multimodal AI (AI that processes and combines diverse data types like text, image, and audio for integrated analysis), such as facial recognition and voice keyword detection. Through IP licensing, AimFuture has collaborated with various fabless and design companies. At the expo, the company focused on introducing its NPU solutions tailored for Edge Computing applications, including Smart Robotics, AIoT, Smart City, and Autonomous Driving.
A representative from a company that manufactures and operates smart recycling kiosks, who visited the booth, commented positively on potential collaboration: “We were using expensive GPUs to power our automated waste sorting solution. We believe that by using AimFuture’s NPU, we could achieve the same performance at a much lower cost.”
